The Upside Global, the NFLPA Indianapolis Chapter, and the Indy NFL Alumni Chapter, the event provided a platform for attendees to explore cutting-edge ideas and connect with thought leaders shaping the future of sports tech.

A highlight of the evening featured Super Bowl champions Gary Brackett and Tarik Glenn (pictured right) in a conversation that bridged the worlds of professional athletics and entrepreneurship. They shared their experiences, insights, and the lessons they learned playing for the Indianapolis Colts, showing how on-field success can translate into impactful leadership off the field.

An investor panel followed, focusing on “The Power of Athlete Investors & Advisors.” Speakers included Myles Grote (Elevate Ventures), Konrad von Moltke (WISE Ventures), and Chris Wilkerson (51Ventures) (pictured below). Each discussed how athlete-backed ventures can drive innovation and transform the entrepreneurial landscape, offering strategies to maximize both financial returns and community impact.

Several pioneering startups took center stage during the Sports Tech HQ Showcase, demonstrating the breadth and diversity of Indiana’s sports innovation ecosystem. Companies like Sportable, ai.io, PREGAME®, SuperQuickQuestion, and Kinmetrix unveiled new solutions that enhance training, improve fan engagement, and harness data for deeper insights into athletic performance. Attendees had the chance to speak directly with founders, gaining firsthand knowledge of these transformative technologies.
