Sports Tech HQ welcomes new Head of Marketing, Brian Alkire
Sports Tech HQ is thrilled to announce Brian Alkire as Head of Marketing, bringing more than a decade of national storytelling experience to the organization’s efforts and the rapidly growing sports tech ecosystem in the state of Indiana.
Alkire joins Sports Tech HQ with a distinguished background in production, media relations, and brand management. Previously, he served as a Coordinating Producer for NBC News in New York, where he played a pivotal role in amplifying the TODAY Show brand with more than 200 local NBC stations across the United States. Prior to his tenure at NBC, Alkire helped deliver Jerry Seinfeld’s award-winning talk show series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee to a worldwide audience on NETFLIX and Sony’s “Crackle” streaming service.
In his new role, Alkire will lead all promotions for Sports Tech HQ, while collaborating with local and national partners to help grow Indiana’s Sports Tech community. His responsibilities will include overseeing all marketing, public relations, content creation, brand management, and event activations.

Alkire was born and raised in Franklin, Indiana and is a 2014 graduate of DePauw University. He and his wife, Carter, will relocate to Indianapolis from New York City as part of his commitment to Sports Tech HQ.
