Golf Giant TaylorMade and Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red Break Ground in Indiana

TaylorMade and Sun Day Red break ground on new facility in Indiana

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (June 9, 2026) – TaylorMade Golf Co. has broken ground on a $58.9 million project in Indiana, planting a flagship home for two of golf’s most recognized brands – TaylorMade and Sun Day Red, the performance lifestyle label launched in partnership with Tiger Woods.

Indiana’s central location is a key part of the appeal: from here, TaylorMade can reach more than 80 percent of its customers within three days, a logistics advantage that has made the state an increasingly attractive home for national and global brands.

“This project represents an exciting next chapter for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red as we continue to invest in our people, our products, and our long-term growth. The new distribution center will significantly enhance our operational capabilities while creating meaningful opportunities within the Evansville community,” said Jessica Delgado, associate director of PMO Operations at TaylorMade. “Evansville has been an incredible place to live and work—its strong workforce, collaborative spirit, and commitment to growth make it the ideal location for this expansion and deepening our roots in the region. I’m incredibly proud to help bring this vision to life and to further strengthen our presence in a state and the community that I truly love and am proud to call home.”

The Evansville operation serves as TaylorMade’s only U.S. distribution center, supporting fulfillment for both TaylorMade Golf Co. and its Sun Day Red performance apparel brand in partnership with Tiger Woods. Once complete, the new facility will position the company to ship millions of products annually, reinforcing the region’s strategic role within TaylorMade’s North American supply chain.

TaylorMade has quietly called Indiana home since 2017, when the Carlsbad, California-based company first established its operations in the state. It has steadily grown its presence ever since, and this latest investment marks its biggest commitment yet, reinforcing Indiana’s rising profile as a destination for the sports industry.

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun joined company executives and local officials to break ground on the project with a ceremonial wedge shot.

“Today is a great day for Indiana as we celebrate this expansion for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red,” said Gov. Braun. “This growth is a testament to the trust companies place in Hoosiers to deliver premier, top-quality brands.”

The company expects to move into the new facility in early 2027.

The project was supported by the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, which helped bring the expansion to fruition. “TaylorMade’s decision to expand reflects a long-term partnership and our focus on helping strong employers continue investing here,” said Josh Armstrong, Chief Economic Development Officer for the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership. “Retaining and growing companies already operating in our region is one of the most effective ways we create opportunity for residents and signal to other businesses that this is a place where investment is supported.”

TaylorMade’s continued growth adds to Indiana’s expanding sports ecosystem, where the state is increasingly positioning itself as a national hub for sports business and sports technology. From major franchises and signature events to a growing community of sports tech companies, startups, and organizations, Indiana has built an environment where sports brands and innovators can scale. Investments like TaylorMade’s reinforce that momentum and signal to others across the sports industry that Indiana is a place to build for the long term.

Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, TaylorMade manufactures high-performance golf equipment—including clubs, golf balls, accessories, and apparel—and is an industry leader in equipment customization and personalization. Sun Day Red is a golf-inspired performance lifestyle brand created in partnership with 15-time major championship winner Tiger Woods, that offers a full range of premium apparel and footwear.
