ScoutSync Relocates to Indiana, Joins the Sports Tech HQ Collective

ScoutSync, a technology platform built to modernize the way athletes and teams connect, today announced it is relocating its operations from Zurich, Switzerland, to Indiana. As part of the move, the company will join the Sports Tech HQ Collective, a curated network of more than 45 sports tech companies benefiting from Indiana’s world-class sports infrastructure, talent pipeline, and collaborative innovation ecosystem.

ScoutSync was founded by Darius Willis, a former Indiana University football player who launched the company while living abroad. By returning to Indiana, Willis is bringing the company closer to its roots and positioning it for long-term growth within a state known for its sports culture and innovation-friendly environment.

ScoutSync is focused on making the scouting and recruiting process more efficient and accessible. The platform utilizes modern technology—including automation and data tools—to help athletes showcase their potential and provide coaches and teams with a clearer, faster way to evaluate talent.

Whether it’s a high school athlete seeking exposure or a team looking for overlooked prospects, ScoutSync reduces the friction in finding and connecting the right people. Athletes can build dynamic profiles, submit performance data, and get seen; teams can streamline evaluations and uncover talent they might otherwise miss.

“Starting ScoutSync overseas gave us a unique perspective on how global and fragmented scouting is,” says Darius Willis, founder and CEO of ScoutSync. “Moving back to Indiana, where I played, trained, and understand the landscape, gives us the right platform to grow with purpose. This isn’t just about launching tech; it’s about making a real difference for athletes and coaches.”

As a member of the over 45-company Sports Tech HQ Collective, ScoutSync will gain access to an ecosystem of sports organizations, universities, and innovation partners, all committed to advancing the future of sports through technology.

“ScoutSync brings a much-needed, athlete-first lens to the scouting space,” says Jeffrey Hintz, Executive Director of Sports Tech HQ. “Darius knows firsthand where the gaps are, and he’s building tools that directly address those challenges. We’re excited to support ScoutSync as they expand in Indiana.”
